Motul TEKMA MEGA X 15W-40 (208 L drum) is a heavy-duty engine oil in the TEKMA family engineered for large diesel engines in trucks, heavy machinery, buses, and other high-duty applications. Being a Technosynthese®* oil, it blends high-quality base oils with additives that enhance performance like better wear protection, soot dispersal, oxidation resistance, and stability under thermal stress. This makes it suitable for fleets with mixed generation engines (older and newer) especially in climates where high ambient temperature and heavy loads are common. It’s particularly appropriate where engine manufacturers demand the ACEA E7 and API CI-4 / CH-4 specifications, and for equipment under Euro II through Euro V emission norms. The oil’s approvals (MACK, Mercedes-Benz, Cummins, etc.) give strong assurance of compatibility and protection. For usage, the 208-L drum format is ideal for large scale operations, fleet services, and sites where frequent oil changes are done or where the volume of oil needed is large. Maintenance intervals and drain intervals should follow OEM guidelines and depending on operating severity (load, ambient temp, fuel quality, etc.), as heavy soot load or dirty fuel may require shorter drains.
